When it comes to streamers, you go and watch them because of their personality and their ability to other game good, or at least game well enough. Tyler “Ninja” Blevins is by and large one of, if not the, most popular streamer in the world because of his mix of having great gaming skills, and a great personality to match. And it all adds up to a lot of fame and success, especially when it comes to Fortnite. But that doesn’t mean he won’t bash the game when necessary.
For example, during a recent stream, he decided to not only air his problems with the game he’s attached to, but also its rival in Apex Legends. The results were quite hilarious to be honest:
“Sitting in the theory crafting room, the think tank, everyone at EA and Apex Legends: ‘Guys, we’re still not going to be able to catch up to Fortnite! What do we do? Uh maybe we can add some great updates and content? Eh, that’s a little hard, what about you Ben? We can just wait for Epic to make a shitty update? BOOM! I love it!'”
Sadly, this feels a bit accurate. As Apex Legends is only slowly giving out content that gamers want (but they are teasing some big changes in the future), and Fortnite has honestly been a little slow in terms of fixing things on a grand scale, hence the rant from Ninja.
Now, while he was insulting them on a rather large scale, that doesn’t mean that he won’t play them again. Far from it, he’s up for playing just about any title that intrigues him. And these two still do. It’s just that when it comes right down to it, he knows they can be better, and yet the teams aren’t making them better when they definitely have the money to do so.
