Nintendo Switch Version of WWE 2K18 Only Supports Six Onscreen Characters

Since the launch of the console, we’ve seen a rather peculiar ride for the Nintendo Switch when it comes to third party support. At first glance, it appeared that the console would be getting more third party support than any of the other Nintendo releases had before, though there have also been many that have said they have no intention of ever releasing their products on the new machine, opting to remain on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. WWE 2K18 will be coming to the Switch, but it won’t be without limitations, sadly.

2K Sports recently updated it’s announcement page for WWE 2K18 for the Switch, with a note that won’t be the most pleasing news for some fans. Whilst other versions of the game will support eight characters onscreen at once, the Nintendo Switch version will only support six characters onscreen.

It has yet to be confirmed by 2K as to whether or not anything else about the Switch version will be any different to the others. The new features, the MyPlayer mode and the new Custom Match option will be included, though we are yet to hear whether or not they will work as the other console releases do.

If you haven’t checked it out already, get ready for the release of WWE 2K18 with WWE 2K17, the latest addition to the 2K wrestling series.
