Open Beta Kicks Off For Dead Alliance

Maximum Games has launched the mutliplayer open beta for Dead Alliance, an upcoming team-based shooter developed by Psyop Games and IllFonic. This beta will run from July 27th through to July 31st on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

The open beta will give players the rather unique opportunity to turn the walking dead into weapons against their foes across the three game modes that are on offer, which includes Team Deathmatch, King of the Hill, and Attrition mode which features a more MOBA style of experience. These will all take place across three zombie-infested maps.

Thanks to zMods, which is tech controlled by zombies to strategically catch enemies by surprise in battle, Dead Alliance is able to push the boundaries of other competitive shooters. Set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, the game sees teams of warring military factions scrap for control of the remaining resources left to humanity.

The shooter will offer a variety of modes at launch, including single-player and 4v4 multiplayer modes, plus Capture and Hold, Free For All, and Solo Survival, as well as the modes included in the beta.

Dead Alliance is set to release at the end of next month, launching on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on August 29th.
