Jokes can often turn into a real thing, and that might be happening with the Luci-Ohs cereals from Overwatch.
Video game developers often find themselves promoting their games in the most unusual ways. That’s the whole point of marketing, expanding and finding more customers. And who doesn’t like cereal? It is the best food for breakfast. Well, it won’t be the most balanced meal, but it’s extremely delicious. Now, in a PC Gamer article, we read about the Lucio-Ohs cereals, which were an inside joke for Overwatch players, and how they might be becoming real. If you don’t know, the Lucio-Ohs cereal is based on one of the game’s characters who is a DJ with roller blades. Yes, he’s quite a cool dude.
This information was obtained by The Junk Food Aisle, which found out about this first. But, will Blizzard really make these into a real thing? If they did, would you ever buy some Lucio-Ohs? We do wonder if they would be a delicious treat. But, since the leak says that these will come with a Loot Boost, we expect many will buy them regardless.
They are coming on December 3rd if the leak is real. We can’t quite decide if this is something that Blizzard would really do. But, why not? It seems like quite the combination. Food and in-game bonuses for one price. It’s not a shabby deal at all.
I hope it’s more like Cheerio’s and not Fruit Loops.
