Overwatch League: KyKy and Rascal Released From Dallas Fuel

Esports is quite a big thing in gaming now, as the tournaments and the people that watch them increased greatly over the years. The prizes are also quite huge, so teams put their everything into training and becoming better at the game that they are playing in order to win and earn their paycheck. That also means that teams change, and players that don’t give their all won’t make it. Dallas Fuel is one of the 12 esports franchises that is competing in the Overwatch League, and they just let go of their head coach, Kyle “KyKy” Souder, and their Korean player, Dong-jun “Rascal” Kim.

Kyle Souder was the man that previously coached the Team Envy roster with participated in the Overwatch Contenders and APEX, and he most recently acted as the head coach for the Dallas Fuel roster during the inaugural season of the popular Overwatch League. Mike Rufail, the owner of the Dallas Fuel and Team Envy said on their official post:

“We will always appreciate Kyle’s commitment to this organization. He is a true competitor who coached our team through a great run and a Contenders championship; unfortunately, we have not replicated that championship level of success in the Overwatch League this season. While we recognize many of the challenges Kyle faced with the Dallas Fuel were beyond his control, there comes a time when change is necessary for the team to move forward and we felt that time is now,”

The assistant coach, Emanuel “Peak” Uzoni has now assumed the role of Head Coach, and Kang “Vol’Jin” Min-Gyu was also added to the coaching staff in order to help Emanuel with the roster and preparing them for the upcoming matches. The Korean DPS player, Rascal, was removed from the team because he wasn’t showing enough commitment and he wouldn’t communicate with his teammates during matches, which as you can guess was quite a problem for the entire team.
