Phoenix Point Still Isn’t Available Via The Game Pass

If you want to buy Phoenix Point but want to avoid the Epic Games Store, too bad because the game still isn’t available on the Game Pass.

Phoenix Point is struggling with Microsoft and all their pre-requisites

A lot of us were quite infuriated when we were slapped in the face with Phoenix Point’s exclusivity on the PC. Want to play this game as soon as it gets released? Your option is the Epic Games Store. Now, instead of waiting for the exclusivity period to end and buying it on Steam, we got another option. Get access to Phoenix Point with Microsoft’s Game Pass. Not a bad deal, isn’t it? Well, you’re going to wait for it. That’s right, Snapshot Games did not take one thing into consideration. You have to go through a lot of pre-requisites to get your title available on Microsoft’s platform. Because of this slipup, you won’t be seeing Phoenix Point available via Microsoft and its services and store for a while.

Flimsy excuse

Their excuse for this oversight is:

“We were exceedingly busy getting the game itself ready, and being inexperienced with Game Pass and the Microsoft Store, we simply had not properly prepared the groundwork to get the game released on time on these platforms.”

Funny. The game is quite unpolished and has a hefty amount of bugs. So, maybe they were busy counting the Epic Games Store exclusivity money. Who knows, but the devs don’t even know how much people have to wait before the game arrives on the Game Pass. They are “working hard” on getting the game there. I’ll keep you occupied if more the devs share more info with us.

Awesome game, anyone who complains about Epic is an idiot, people who write whole articles to act “edgy” are d*ckwads and deserve the STD’s they get from half price hookers.

Yes, because complaining about a company that has a launcher that possibly could be used by China to spy on you and steal your personal information, AND is missing some pretty basic functions that other storefronts have is idiotic, yes, I agree with you!
