Play Overwatch During Week Free Trial Next Week

Overwatch is one of the most popular games out there right now. Which is interesting given that it wasn’t supposed to be what it was at first, it was supposed to be a new MMORPG called Titan, but that got shelved and then repurposed as the game you see now. That has been to the benefit of Blizzard, as the game skyrocketed to popularity rarely seen by an online title in the modern age of gaming. But, they’re always looking to bring in new players.

Which is good for you out there who have not had the chance to play the game yet. For next week, from November 20th-26th, Blizzard is offering a free trial of Overwatch. This will be for not only PC, but Xbox One and PS4.

You can even download the trial right now according to their website so that the moment the trial goes live, you’ll be able to take part in it.

As for what’s in the trial itself, apparently, it’ll have all the features that you would expect. As well as a good amount of characters to play as…mainly…all of them:

For this free trial, we’re making the ultimate team-based shooter’s entire content available including the full roster of 29 heroes—including the newly released gunslinger Ashe—and 19 maps available for play in a variety of modes, such as Quick Play, Custom Games, and the Arcade. Players will also be able to level up, earn Loot Boxes, and unlock different customization options for their heroes. Plus, if you decide to purchase Overwatch after test driving the game, you’ll get to keep any progress that you made during the free Trial—just be sure to use the same Blizzard, Xbox Live, or Sony account that you played on.

There will even be limited time loot that you can earn. Check out the announcement page to see when the trial will start in your area.
