When Does PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Arrive On Xbox One

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds rocked the world when it came to PC via Steam earlier this year. While it’s true that the game wasn’t exactly revolutionary (as games like H1Z1 had done the Battle Royale style before), PUBG did more refinements, made it feel special, and since then, players haven’t been able to stop playing it. It continually breaks records on Steam, including have the record for most concurrent players on a game. But, now, it’s about to arrive on another platform, the Xbox One.

This too rocked players, as Microsoft ensured a deal that would make PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds exclusive to their console, or at least, exclusive for quite a while. Which, given that the Steam version had 20 million buys, is likely to net Microsoft a tidy profit. But, while we’ve known the release date for a while, some aren’t sure of the exact time it’ll release. Well, we’ve found that out.

Windows Central knew the plight that Xbox One gamers were going through, so they did some translations to figure out the exact launch of the game when it releases on December 12th. For the US, it’ll arrive at the stroke of midnight, 12AM EST. For the UK, it’ll be 12AM GMT. For Austrailia, 12AM AEDT, and so on and so forth. If you’re not a part of these countries, go to the full list to see where it all falls for you.

Regardless though, there’s no doubt that fans on Xbox are eager to get their hands on the game. The Xbox version will feature all the content of the PC version, including the upcoming desert map MIramar. Now, there was some dispute as to what framerate the Xbox One X version of the game would run, but it’s now confirmed to be 30FPS.

A small note, there will be a free trial of the game available to players on Xbox. You’ll have one hour to test it out before having to pay for the game.
