Red Dead Redemption 2 Lets You Create Your Own Gun

Red Dead Redemption 2 looks like it’s going to be a game with a lot of customization, especially when it comes to firearms.

Red Dead Redemption 2 looks like it’s going to be the GTA V of the Wild West. That sounds pretty amazing, doesn’t it? Well, only if you aren’t a PC user that is. Rockstar still hasn’t announced a PC version of the game, and that is making us depressed. Especially since our hype meter is going off the roof with more information on the game being released over time.

The official site of the game now offers some information about the guns that we will be using in-game. Rockstar is focusing a lot on gun customization, and we like what we read. See, you will be able to customize the look and the efficiency of all of your guns in Red Dead Redemption 2. You don’t like that new rifle you just found? Well, put a new grip on it, get some new barrels, and even attach a scope. Oh, it’s much more powerful now, but it’s still kind of ugly. Not to worry, you can even use new woods and metals to make it look cooler. You can even put engravings on it to make it look super cool.

Each of the weapons found in Red Dead Redemption has their purpose. You might use one weapon while you’re shooting and moving at the same time. If you’re hunting some smaller animals you won’t use the same rifle that you use when you’re trying to put a huge hole into a human adversary. From what we know, they want each firearm to have a purpose.

There’s a lot more info on the Dead Eye system as well. It basically lets you slow down time and blow everyone away. Over time the system will progress, becoming more useful. For example, later down the line, the Dead Eye system will reveal the weak points of enemies.

We are even more excited for this game after all this information. But, we are still waiting for that PC version announcement that is nowhere to be found.
