The last time we talked about Riot Games was when we were talking about their legal issues with some of their employees. But, today we are here to bring you some gaming news. As Reddit is basically a goldmine for information, rumors, and speculation, we browse it pretty consistently. Looking through the threads got our eyes peeled on what particular subject. Riot Games are the people behind League of Legends. That’s the game they are famous for, but it seems like they want to sail into new waters. A lot of people have been talking about an MMORPG and how Riot wants to make one. That would certainly be something interesting, even though they themselves never confirmed these speculations. Such a project by these people could be something amazing, it could even be a threat to WoW.

But, it may not even be a game. Maybe they’re planning to do a TV series or even an animated movie. Your guess is as good as ours, as there isn’t any concrete information that would allude to what they’re planning. Hopefully some information regarding Legends of Runeterra gets released soon. We are very eager to find out what exactly this project is.

This was trademarked due to their card game: Legends of Runeterra. I wouldn’t be surprised, however, if they decided to make a LoR MMO which would be AWESOME! =) If anyone is looking for content/gameplay of the Legends of Runeterra card game, you can find some here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxpTeRGySMGb8TALDagRGYQ

As a Legends of Runeterra player, can you tell me will Riot’s card game be able to compete with its competitors?
