Rocket League’s Rocket Pass Gets $10 Price Tag

Rocket League has been doing a great job in coming up with new ways to keep the game alive. Just this year alone they beta tested and will launch a Tournaments feature that will surely keep players coming back for more. Add to that, they have refined certain features and expanded upon others. But, to ensure they’re still getting some profit on this, Psyonix revealed a Rocket Pass, one that would allow people who buy it the ability to get certain special items and such. Well now, they have detailed it.

The price of the Rocket Pass will be $10, which isn’t too bad considering how other developers often try and rise up the price of these things. Once you have it, you’ll have the ability to get items that others can’t, and you’ll get them by earning Rocket XP. It should be noted however that this new system doesn’t replace the old XP system.

What can you expect from the items? Well there will be new customisation items, player banners, in-game titles, and decryptors. The best part is, there are many ways to get the Rocket Pass. There will be a free version that offers some of the new options, but to get the Premium one, you must either pay the $10, OR, you can use ten keys to unlock it. Psyonix made special mention that they will be offering more keys this year to further allow this option.

Upgrading to the Premium Rocket Pass will get you access to car bodies, keys, premium player banners, and premium titles, so you can see the jump in quality between the two, right? Furthermore, you’ll be able to get XP boosts and awards to help you level up.

There is no release date for the Rocket Pass as of yet, but Psyonix said they’ll be diving more into this soon.
