Shroud of the Avatar Is Getting Player-made Dugeons

Don’t you love it when MMORPG developers give us the option of making our own content? Shroud of the Avatar is one of those MMORPGs that needs an involved community in order to stay alive, and the community will be able to create their own dungeons soon.

Shroud of the Avatar

The developers of the game talked a lot about certain game systems that are coming soon. For example, you can look forward to Fishing, which is in Phase 2, and Player Made Dungeons. It seems like the work on PMD is going much faster than expected, as they plan to release this game system in Q4 of this year. Still, these are only plans, and there are always bumps on the road when it comes to game development. Basically what we’re saying is don’t be surprised if they end up pushing the release date for Player Made Dungeons somewhere down the line.

The developers of Shroud of the Avatar even said that work on this system won’t affect the development of Fishing at all. That sounds highly unlikely, but we will be happy if it turns out that way. In order to prepare us for the launch of player made content, Release 57 is coming with five dungeon entrances and five static example dungeons. Players will be able to craft one dungeon entrance and one example dungeon, while the other four will be available in the Add-On Store.
