With the new Star Wars movie around the corner, it seems that Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Celebration Edition is also arriving on December 5th?
Game companies love doing this. After a load of updates and DLC and whatnot, they release a brand new edition of the game that bundles up everything together and throws in a couple of new things. So that players can get all the content at once. Apparently, EA made one of these. According to True Achievements, we will be getting Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Celebration Edition on December 5th. It comes with the complete collection of the game’s purchasable in-game items. Not only that, but owners of this edition also get items that are inspired by the STAR WARS™: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER™ movie that’s coming on December 20th, 2019.
Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Celebration Edition gives you over 25 Hero Appearances (comes with 6 Legendary ones), new Appearances that are inspired by the new movie, over 125 Trooper and Reinforcement Appearances as well, over a hundred Hero and Trooper Emotes and Voice Lines, a crazy number of Hero and Trooper Victory Poses, and so on. This is basically the edition that unlocks everything there is in the game.
So, what do you think, is this real? It probably is. EA would be extremely happy to cash in on the hype of the new movie. This seems like a perfect way to do that. Now we just have to wait for an official announcement from them.
