InXile Entertainment has confirmed that The Bard’s Tale Trilogy, which includes the remastered editions of the three parts of the classic series, will be available next week.
The new edition is a thorough revision of the games, so in addition to the visuals, the developers have also made changes to the gameplay. You can play through the adventures with male and female characters, inventory management, spells and the automap have gone through one or two changes.
It’s a minor twist that the first act of the classic trilogy will be available on the release date, but the further episodes of the revised editions by InXile and Krome Studios will be released later, so the second part, The Destiny Knight comes sometime this fall, and Thief of Fate at the end of the year.

The bundle will be available on August 14th. The fourth part of the series will be released on September 18th, on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
