The Fans Don’t Like The Single Player Trailer For Battlefield V

Oh boy, Battlefield V got a trailer for its single-player campaign, and the fans aren’t too happy with what they saw.

Battlefield V

It seems like DICE is back at it again with the promotion of some kind of social justice with their games. It didn’t really work for them in the reveal trailer, and it looks like it isn’t working for them now. As we’ve said time and time again, Battlefield fans want realism and authenticity. Now, if you know anything about World War II, you know that it didn’t feature many female commandos. This trailer does feature them though. WWII also did featured a lot of Russians and Germans fighting each other. But, you won’t be getting that in Battlefield V it seems.

Battlefield V

The trailer itself is pretty dramatic and epic. We won’t deny that, but it doesn’t have that which makes the Battlefield series appealing. DICE isn’t giving the players what they want. Instead of focusing on the entire ravaging war and the battles fought, we are getting these “untold” stories that no one cares about. There was no single soldier that was the hero by the end of the day. No, millions of soldiers that died fighting the enemy are the heroes. But that’s the point we’re trying to make. The World War II that DICE is showcasing in Battlefield V doesn’t feel like a World War at all. It’s more like a blockbuster movie from the 90’s where one guy takes down an entire army. Without ever reloading.

Battlefield V

We aren’t too optimistic about the single-player campaign of Battlefield V. But, it can still surprise us, so let’s all just wait and play the game when it releases and see for ourselves. Just don’t get your hopes up.

Is this article serious? First thought it was clickbait because the trailer looks stunning in my opinion and I’m very interested in the stories. In my opinion this trailer and the single player safes the game not sure who those people are that are “not too happy” about it.
