Well, we got to face all kinds of tough monsters and bosses with unique decks. Now, we’re going to be dealing with puzzles in Hearthstone.
It seems like Blizzard isn’t running out of ideas when it comes to Hearthstone content. The latest expansion saw the return of mechs. It also introduced cards which were really good with mechs, creating interesting synergy. The heap of new content will provide an intense variety boost to both the Constructed and the Arena mode. Now, even when that gets boring, we will have the Puzzle Labs to play with.
We have to be honest with you, we had no idea what to expect when we heard about this. Puzzles in Hearthstone? How exactly would that work and with what kind of mechanic? Of course, you didn’t need anything special at all, just a bit of tweaking. There are 4 types of puzzles in The Puzzle Lab: Lethal, Board Clear, Survive, and Mirror. Each of them has one goal, and you can guess what each means by their names. The most interesting one is Mirror, where your board has to mirror the board of your opponent. Each puzzle can be complete in many different ways, and honestly, it looks interesting.
This isn’t really what we imagined when we thought about Hearthstone puzzles. But still, this looks like it’s going to be really fun and engaging.
