The Xbox Beta For Fallout 76 Comes Before The Others

This is, well, weird. It seems like the beta for the upcoming survival Fallout game that will have no friendly NPCs is coming to the Xbox One first, then to the PC and PlayStation 4. If anything, this is a way to make your fans really angry, and also a way to separate different console users, which is a bad thing to do with a title that is already going in a different direction than the other games in the franchise. Also, another really questionable move is that they made it possible to enter the beta for Fallout 76 only if you pre-order it, which is ridiculous.

Fallout 76

So, this is something that actually happened. You can’t just apply for the Fallout 76 beta and hope luck picks you, no, you have to pre-order the game if you want to get in. That will certainly make people angry, a lot of people, and then you have the fact that the Xbox One beta is coming sooner than the PC and PlayStation 4 one. On their FAQ page it says:

Q: WHEN AND ON WHAT PLATFORMS WILL THE FALLOUT 76 B.E.T.A. BE AVAILABLE?

A: The B.E.T.A. will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and on PC (via Bethesda.net). Stay tuned for exact timing for each platform here and @Fallout on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Please note that the B.E.T.A. for Xbox One will begin first, followed by other platforms.

Why are they doing this? We don’t know, maybe Microsoft paid for it to get a headstart so that more people preorder the game for the Xbox One. Still, this will certainly create problems for Fallout 76 before it even launches.
