Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Gets 13-minute Gameplay Video

The Uncharted series is one of the most respected game series in recent memory. While it started out as a simple “dude raider” game, it quickly evolved into something more. The fan base fell in love with Nathan Drake, his friends, and his adventures. But, the tale of Nathan came to a close with A Thief’s End. However, Naughty Dog isn’t done with the world yet, and unveiled Uncharted: The Lost Legacy last year. It stars some familiar faces on an all-new journey, one that will arrive on August 22nd on the PS4.

With us now a month away from its arrival, Sony has been releasing more and more teasers of what fans can expect. Today, a 13-minute gameplay demo was released that shows the main characters for the game, Chloe Frazer, navigating through the Western Ghats region of India, the country where the game takes place. All the classic Uncharted gameplay tropes are here. Exploring, climbing, gathering items, driving, and yes, combat. Check out the video below for the full experience.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy features Chloe going after a rare Indian artifact. However, to get it, she’ll need to accept help from a mercenary named Nadine Ross. Working together, they have to retrieve the artifact before a ruthless warmonger gets his hands on it. The team at Naughty Dog are very excited for this, and are making sure that everything you’d expect from a Nathan Drake adventure is here in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. The Unreal Engine 4 is once again making the series look as beautiful as it can possibly be.

Now, for those who are wondering what might come next, Naughty Dog has said there are plenty of characters in the Uncharted universe that have their own adventures to tell. So who knows who might come up to play next.
