It’s not Half-Life 3

The internet breaks, everyone is going crazy. Oh dear lord, we’re getting a new Half-Life title. It’s called Half-Life: Alyx. Seems like the game will be centered around her, not Freeman. Wait, wait it seems I missed something completely. Oh, this is a virtual reality game? And it’s Valve’s flagship title? So, this is the game that will pull everyone to VR, the niche part of gaming technology that hasn’t been really progressing in a while, as John Carmack noted? Seems like Valve is either afraid of making a third Half-Life game because it would never live up to the bar set by the second title, or they just don’t care. They are actively ignoring the begging and pleading of their fans for years now.

It’s a VR Half-Life game

We’ve heard rumors around this. Valve was making some sort of VR title, but it was all shrouded in secret and mystery. Now we know why. If any of us knew the new Half-Life game would be this, a riot would have occurred. People’s fury would undoubtedly reach critical mass. However, this is still a new Half-Life title. Even though it’s a VR game. Maybe it ends up being good. Maybe it ends up being immensely excellent even. It probably won’t, but let’s wait until this Thursday, at 10 am Pacific Time. That’s when Valve said they’re lifting the curtain on this.

While you wait for this VR title to be revealed, why not give Episode 1 and 2 a try, if by some strange chance you missed out on these classics. Both the Half-Life 2: Episode One and Half-Life 2: Episode 2 PC game keys can be bought on HRK Game for a great price!
