APE OUT is a vibrant, extravagant, stylish, and hectic smash 'em up game that is centered around one mad ape that's trying to obtain freedom at whatever cost. The game was developed by Gabe Cuzzillo, Bennett Foddy, Matt Boch and published by Devolver Digital on February 28th, 2019.

Rhythmic jazz, flashing and intense colors, a lot of bloodshed and violence, that's what APE OUT is all about. Take on the role of an ape that wants to escape the tyrannical chains of humanity and become a free animal once more. Rage through the levels as you build up a dangerous amount of moment and use any humans that you find as either weapons or even shields, and tear apart any and all enemies that stand in the path of your freedom.

The game has all kinds of tight corridors, confusing labyrinths, and open areas that you get to navigate and paint with the blood of vicious humans. This escape will not be easy, as many traps, obstacles, and dangerous men are laying in wait for you to come. But, you are a powerful and strong primal predator that will stop at nothing to break the chains of captivity. Grab an enemy and throw them at another for an explosion of guts and gore and even pick up a soldier and even use them as a shield as you rampage through the opposition.

APE OUT has a stellar and envigorating soundtrack that follows the footsteps of the chaos that you're spreading as you rip apart the weak humans that thought they could enslave you!
