Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved is a multidirectional shooter from 2014, the sixth installment in the popular Geometry Wars series. The game was developed by Lucid Games and then published by Activision under the brand name of Sierra Entertainment. It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, GNU/Linux, and OS X on November 25, 2014. The day after that, on November 26, 2014, the game was released for Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
In Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved, the players pilot a special claw-shaped ship that has the ability to shoot independently of the direction that it's facing. The primary objective in this shooter is to obliterate any enemy shape that attacks your own ship. There are many modes in the game, and depending on which one you're playing you can get extra supers and lives when you get a specific number of points.
Supers are expendable powerups which give you immensely powerful effects. For example, one super can give you a turret that shoots enemies and another can allows you to shoot a huge wave of bullets that mows down all foes you're facing at that given time. Players can also select a drone to follow their main ship into the heat of battle. This drone can do many things like attack hostiles and ram into them.
In order to get the best score players to need to pay attention to the score multiple that gets increased when you collect "geoms", small green diamonds found from time to time.
