The Year is...

30XX combines the crisp controls and fluid movement you love from action platformers like Mega Man X, the replayability of a modern Roguelike (Binding of Isaac, Enter the Gungeon, Dead Cells, etc) and co-op play into a single gorgeous package.

Awaken a thousand years after 20XX to realize the world that needed you is gone, changed irreversibly by the advent of the Synthetic Mind and a human race that's lost the will to reach for the stars. Explore the lush, verdant prison our world has become, and fight to save what remains.

Rise. Fight. Fall. Adapt. There's a sublime meaning in this endless cycle, somewhere, buried deep.

  • Pulse-pounding action, precise platforming, and beautiful spritework
  • Characters with fully distinct playstyles - master Ace's swift, combo-friendly Techniques and Nina's intricate Power Fusion system for even more replayability
  • A fresh new set of levels, items, and powers every time you play - 30XX is never the same game twice!
  • Roguelike-style progression that lets you tune the game's systems and difficulty as you play, even after you win
  • A robust level editor - the same tools the developers use! - that lets you build single level chunks or entire custom campaigns
  • Local and online multiplayer, so you can enjoy 30XX with a friend

Hello! Today's 0.15.8 patch mostly fixes up Mega Mode save data in co-op play. FIXES: Fixed an issue that could cause Mega Mode shop items to not save as "purchased". Fixed an issue causing Mega Mode shops to not synchronize properly in online co-op. (The two players now share a shop, and if either player attempts to purchase an item, both players will get it.) Fixed a few edge cases where co-op save data could behave oddly in online co-op in Mega Mode. Fixed cases where Japanese strings would i...

Hello! Today's 0.15.6 patch continues to fix up the issues that've popped up since we released on the 17th. Some notable to-dos on our list for next week: Fix up Mega Mode's shop while playing online, and tackle visibility issues. If certain themes or game assets are super hard for you to see, now's the time to tell us! Thanks for playing.

Hey, folks! Today's 0.15.5 patch fixes a few more issues - it's a small patch, but it includes a few crash fixes, so we wanted to get them out ASAP. It also adds an "unstuck" button while we work on situations where folks get stuck/otherwise can't progress - use it sparingly, since there are probably a few places in the game where it'll send you somewhere you don't want to go. Thanks for playing! Lots more coming soon as we continue to improve & fix up the game. CHANGES & FIXES: Added an "Unstuc...

I missed 20XX when it came out, which was clearly a mistake because it looks brilliant. But it was also a pleasant accident, because now 30XX is here the whole thing is so fresh and wonderful. Just loading into it this morning made me happy. This series takes Mega Man X, with its dashing, jumping, blasting platform play, and spins it into a roguelite. Bosses still give you an extra power, but the levels and all that jazz are procedurally scrambled. The controls are beautiful - movement has a lov...

Hey, folks! We've had another day to iron out some more of our launch bugs, so we're continuing to release small patches daily in an effort to get some of 30XX's rougher edges smoothed out quickly. Today's 0.15.4 patch also reduces the length of levels in Standard - we overshot a bit. Thanks for playing 30XX so far! Netplay and general gameplay stability's our top priority, so please keep those bug reports coming - they're super helpful! CHANGES & FIXES: Reduced level length in Standard by appro...
