ASTRONEER is an open world space exploration video game developed and published by System Era Softworks.

Are you ready to explore all kinds of remote worlds during the 25th century? Everyone is trying to explore as many planets as possible for that one chance to find something special which no one else found before. This exploration rush is very dangerous, but it is very worthwhile if you manage to survive and find something unique.

The most useful tool in your arsenal will be your ability to shape the world and alter its terrain. Moons and planets have many valuable resources on them, it's up to you to locate and extract them. Once you obtain these resources you can either trade them or use them to craft all kinds of new modules, tools, and vehicles. There is nothing stopping you from creating an entire industrial base in ASTRONEER.

The world is your playground in this title, and that isn't a metaphor. Imagine as if all of the terrains was made out of Play-Doh, and you're the one that gets to reshape it in any way you want to. All of the planets found in ASTRONEER are procedurally generated and can be crossed and deformed in all manner of ways. Create advanced vehicles that allow you to visit more planets and various moons that are found in the vast emptiness of space. The game features a drop-in/drop-out 4-player online mode if you want to explore planets with a couple of friends.

ASTRONEER is a terrific space sandbox filled with planets to explore and remodel, resources to find, and vehicles and buildings to create. Play it alone or with up to 4 friends and enjoy a peaceful game with no enemies to disturb you.

Despite being basically space-Minecraft, it feels like we hear about people making crazy things in Minecraft a lot more than Astroneer. Now one talented creator has addressed this imbalance by building a giant, functioning, playable Space Invaders cabinet in the game - complete with score and multiple increasing difficulty levels. Streamer and computer engineering student Tyler Hill has completed his 'Astro Invaders' project by making a fully functional Space Invaders arcade machine within Astro...

I might have to return to Astroneer. I played it a lot when it was first released, but drifted away like George Clooney in the movie Gravity. What’s grabbing my attention now, a whole two years after the initial release? They just added hoverboards in a new update. I will now return to it, also like George Clooney in the movie Gravity, but without the terrible twist. Read more
