Bad North is a real-time roguelite in which players need to defend their island kingdom against bloodthirsty Vikings. The game was developed by Plausible Concept and published by Raw Fury on November 16th, 2018.
Command your armies, decide what their position is going to be, and pray that you survive. Each commander that you lose is gone forever, so when everyone dies, the game is over. The only thing that the player does is command the defenses and monitors the positioning. Once that is set, your soldiers do the rest of the job. Each of the islands in-game has its own style, charm, and layout. Strategies need to take into consideration every nook and cranny that's located on the map as once the invasion starts, there's no going back.
More potent defenses earn you better rewards so that your people turn from a ragtag militia into cunning and experienced warriors. An engaging and brutal tactical roguelike, unlike anything you've ever seen before, Bad North has charm and it has challenges. Procedurally generated islands and brave soldiers blend in with the horrifying reality of war to give an immersive atmosphere. The gameplay is intuitive and enthralling, easy to access but difficult to master.
You're not fighting for fame or glory, you're fighting to defend your settlements and people against vicious invaders. Win and hope that peace returns to the unforgiving lands of the Bad North.
