Battle Fleet 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to the game that's all about sinking the enemy fleet. The game was developed and published by Mythical City Games on November 20th, 2014.
Your mission is simple, select your fleet of warships, pick which weapons they're going to use, assign a captain, and sink the enemy. The game's combat system allows players to have complete control over everything, the angle, the power of each shot, and so on. The sequel comes with a full 3D modeling of the terrain, ships, and even ship hit locations. You can aim for the engines to damage the maneuverability of the ship or the command center in order to shut down the entire ship for a whole turn. Everything has been made to be more realistic and immersive, and easier to understand. Fog of War is a new feature that lets you utilize stealth tactics and perform devastating surprise attacks. Using aircraft and ships for reacon is much more important now.
Battle Fleet 2 has a full campaign and all kinds of single-player scenarios to keep you occupied for hours on end. There are 7 different ship classes, all unique in terms of what weapons they can use, how mobile they are, and where their hit locations lie. Small caliber guns are used for precision while the salvo mode makes all guns fire in at the same location, which is perfect for an ending blow.
AA guns, torpedoes, and all kinds of naval artillery is at your disposal, as well as many kinds of aircraft like fighters, bombers, and recon planes which can be launched from cruisers, aircraft carriers, and even island bases. Your captain will gain experience from each Campaign battle (Pacific and Atlantic campaigns are available). There's also the random skirmish mode, cross-platform multiplayer, and hot seat multiplayer. VR support for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive has also been implemented.
