Civilization VI: The Viking Scenario Pack lets you play as a cunning Viking lord and take over Europe with a mighty army. This DLC introduces three new Natural Wonders to the base game as well as six brand new City-States, two of which have the ability to grant new tile improvements.
The six new City-States that come with Civilization VI: The Viking Scenario Pack are the Auckland (Industrial- they provide additional production for anything on the Coastal tiles), Antananarivo (Cultural- give a culture bonus that increases exponentially with each new Great Person), Armagh (Religious - lets builders create the Monstery improvement that gives Faith and also regenerates the health of religious units), Granada (Militaristic - lets builders create the Alcazar improvement that gives Culture and protects military units), Muscat (Trade - gives bonus Amenities in cities that have a Commercial Hub), and the Palenque (Scientific- increases City growth if you have a Campus).
Civilization VI: The Viking Scenario Pack also comes with the "Vikings, Trades, and Raiders!" Scenario in which players have 100 Turns from 787 to 1087 to play either as Harald Hardrada of Norway, King Canute of the Danes, or Olof Skotkonung of Sweden. Invade England with your fleet, make Paris submit to your army, explore and locate Vinland, sail through Gibraltar, or go on a raiding party on the Mediterranean Sea. Create and expand your own trade empire, spread the reach of your religion, and build three new Natural Wonders (Eyjafjallajökull, Lysefjord, and Giant’s Causeway).
