Experience a weird RPG centered around a boy, a dog, and the depths of sanity. Heartbound was developed and published by byPirate Software on December 25th, 2018.

This isn't your typical RPG experience like so many that came before it. In Heartbound, players follow the story of Lore and Baron that are going on many exciting adventures all throughout space and time. The combat in this title is handled as a series of special mini-games that all have their own distinct objectives. By exploring and interacting with the game's whimsical world players can actually change the course of the story. Of course, there are tons of optional cryptographic puzzles in-game which can be completed as a community.

Witness the dazzling unique pixel art that Heartbound uses to pull you into its strange world that is accompanied by a unique and distinct soundtrack. Try not to do terrible things to someone that cares for you and enjoy the many gags that are scattered all throughout this game. Consumables, Experience, and Levels aren't a part of Heartbound. Everything is based on skill and the combat can switch up depending on your relationship with others. Defeat your foes and you can even get a glimpse of their memories from their perspective.

I am unable to fix Heartbound on Mac due to an error with the build process. I have already spoken to other developers and Apple's support team about this. As of today we will be officially dropping Mac support for the foreseeable future. This is the final patch before Animus is ready to launch. We just couldn't wait on some of the more significant engine changes such as full controller support and physics fixes.
