Kingdoms and Castles is a medieval city-building game in which you get to create your very own kingdom from scratch. This title was developed and published by Lion Shield, LLC.

The world is full of dangers and challenges, so your kingdom must be built with that in mind. Vikings can come and raid your land, so you need to make sure that instead of leaving with your villagers they leave with the corpses of their allies that have been filled with arrows. A mighty dragon can also swoop down and burn your granary which will make your people starve during the winter. Your job is to stop the beast in its tracks and make it retreat. Your city building skills and preparations will determine if your kingdom survives all threats.

Kingdoms and Castles lets you layout your town in any way you want. Just make sure that everything is connected and working right to make your peasants happy. Happy peasants won't mind if you increase their taxes a bit in order to fund the creation of your castle. That also means that you have to keep them fed during the winter and free of any plagues. Throw a festival to increase the spirits of your peasants, build churches and taverns to keep their spirits up, and make them collect wood, gather stone, and farm the land so that your kingdom can grow!

Construct regular towers, archer towers, walls, and other defensive structures to keep your people safe from any danger. Many kinds of enemies lurk outside your gates, and you have to keep them out if you want to keep your resources and villagers safe. Kingdoms and Castles has a charming dynamic world, a procedural cloud system, and even a season cycle from summer to winter.
