There are games that push graphics, games that push gameplay, and games that just push video games into another world. Then, there's No Man's Sky, a game that pushes the idea of exploration and wonder into places you never thought possible, until you play the game that is.
In No Man's Sky, you are set in a universe on a random planet, and then can go to any place you want. Want to explore the planet you're on? Do it. Want to go see what the next planet is like? Do it! Want to see what awaits you in the universe? Do it!!! No Man's Sky has such a deep universe that it's literally impossible to explore it all in one lifetime. But that shouldn't stop you from trying.
But remember, a universe has life, and not all of it is friendly. As you explore the stars you'll uncover many forms of life, and it'll be up to you to decide how you deal with it. You can be a hunter and claim prizes in the form of scalps and hides. Or, you can trade with other civilizations and build a positive reputation with them. It's entirely your choice.
The universe of No Man's Sky is procedurally generated, so there's always something new to find, explore, document, seek out, fight, capture, and so much more. There's an infinite amount of worlds out there, what is waiting for you? Why are you standing here reading this when you can go find out? So start the journey, the universe is your sandbox, go find what's waiting for you.

The sandworms cometh in No Man’s Sky’s massive 3.0 Origins update, which also adds billions of planets, loads of flora and fauna, weather systems and so, so much more. (more…)

But now, six years after its initial 2014 unveiling, Hello Games' exploratory space sim finally has its sandworm. Sandworms are just one of the many, many new additions in No Man's Sky's latest update, one the developer is calling Origins ...
