RISE: Race The Future is a racing game set in the near future in which humans invented a new kind of wheel technology which lets them drift on all kinds of terrains. The game was developed and published by VD-dev on November 1st, 2018.

It's time for you to experience gripping and enthralling racing gameplay where you're going to drift and slide like crazy. Because the game has incredibly fluid and precise slippery handling based on a physics-based system, drifting and sliding will feel amazing. Add the fact that you're going to be driving special futuristic cars that can perform the smoothest of powerslides and jumps. This is old-school rally arcade racing taken to a whole other level!

See if you're good at precision drifting, a term that perfectly describes what kind of racing you will be doing in RISE: Race The Future. Precise controls and technical skills are combined with intuitive systems so that everyone can enjoy this arcade racer. Many unique natural environments are present in-game, and they feature some of the best racetracks that are filled with multi-paths and water zones and even jumps. Long powerslides are also something that can be done often. A combination of multiple boost systems lets players perform many different techniques that will let them exit a corner perfectly.

The dynamics of the vehicles have been built on realistic physics to make driving as enjoyable as possible. Handling is slick and natural so that everyone can grasp the basics fairly quickly. There are many different game modes, including things like the Arcade mode, Championship mode, and a Challenge mode where you get to unlock spectacular futuristic cars.

The game looks pretty great, but I have issues with controlling the car. The opponent's A.I. on the other hand is almost flawless. The boosting system is not very effective. Cutting corners feels weird. There is just something about the sense of speed and cutting corners feels stiff. At the beginning, all the cars are locked except the first two. For unlocking any other car you must play the frustratingly hard challenges! Also, you can't unlock any car by playing the championship, and the championship is pretty hard, it barely allows any errors. Of the first two cars, the first one is completely useless due to the car controlling issue, and because has much less grip. So I'm left with one car, or better, I'm stuck with it, because I cannot finish any challenges without practicing the whole day. I'm pretty sure that I need a better car if I want to advance in the championship. Once the race is over there is no way to replay it or to locate the said race within the championship, there is only one picture symbolizing the whole championship that says NEXT, as you click for the next race. And this is kind such a poor UI mechanic. There is also no option to restart the championship.
