The vast deserts of Nehekahra lie untouched and unbothered. But, skeletal clicks are heard as the unliving warriors rise from their tombs and start their march against those that are trespassing on their territory. These scorching lands of sand and death are the realm of kings. This is the Land of the Dead, the domain of powerful mummified kings that will forever rule even in their unlife.
A long time ago, this land housed the grand ancient kingdom of Nehekhara, which was the jewel of human civilization. Their cities were huge and prosperous, their armies mighty and capable of conquering any and all that opposed them. Their rulers stood out as gods amongst men. But, the vile sorcery of the vilified Nagash desecrated this realm, and so all living souls were wiped out, and the dead started to walk.
The Total War: Warhammer II - Rise of the Tomb Kings DLC allows you to play the Tomb Kings race in the Eye of the Vortex campaign, but their objective isn't to influence the vortex in any way. The Tomb Kings have only one objective, and that is the acquirement of the nine cursed Books of Nagash. This search ends in one spectacular battle at the Black Pyramid of Nagash. Finding these books gives you a special campaign bonus and puts you one step closer to ultimate victory.
