After a lot of waiting Horizon: Zero Dawn finally revealed both the minimum and the recommended system requirements.

What other action-RPG has a setting this fascinating? A world that is ruled by ruthless machines. Humans are no longer the apex predator at the top of the food chain. But, what exactly happened? Well, we will be able to find out soon enough, as this PlayStation 4 exclusive is making its way to PC. Now we even have the official system requirements.

Minimum

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10 64-bits
  • Processor: Intel Core [email protected] or AMD FX [email protected]
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 (3 GB) or AMD Radeon R9 290 (4GB)
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 100 GB available space

As you can see, even the minimum requirements aren’t anything to laugh at. That’s to be expected, as Horizon: Zero Dawn is a visually impressive title, so the system requirements will be quite intense. The recommended system requirements are quite steeper, as per usual. To get the most impressive visual performance from Zero Dawn your graphics card needs to be a formidable beast.
