It Seems Like Re:Verse Got a Slight Delay

Resident Evil Re:Verse, the multiplayer mode where players square off against one another, may have gotten a slight delay.

Ah, Re:Verse, the game where 6 humans can go against 6 Nemesis’s. Just try saying Nemesis in the plural and you’ll get a headache. Anyways, this game mode or whatever it is that arrives for free with Resident Evil Village isn’t coming when it’s supposed to.

According to Gamespot, Re:Verse got a delay that sent this multiplayer Resident Evil experience tumbling toward the summer of 2021. The addon isn’t coming with the main game, I know, that’s a bit confusing. But Capcom probably wants to present this idea in the best light possible. Their previous multiplayer experiment called Resident Evil Resistance wasn’t that impactful. Maybe they want to redeem themselves with Re:Verse.

Whatever the case may be, this mode has little to do with Resident Evil Village. So those excited about the big horror/survival blockbuster with gigantic vampire ladies won’t lose anything with Re:Verse and its delay. Those disappointed by the delay won’t have to wait long, as the summer of 2021 is just around the corner so waiting 3-4 more months isn’t that big a deal.
