The elusive exclusive that is Cuphead is finally set to arrive on Xbox One and PC on September 29th, 2017 and we are currently being treated to a number of outlets revealing their findings of the challenging platformer.
This is something that occurred at a Microsoft showcase event in New York City recently, where a number of media platforms headed to the event to check out the long-awaited game, in which we see how the game runs on the upcoming Xbox One X.
In the footage below, the first overworld is showcased, including a tough-looking boss battle known as Botanic Panic. The footage, courtesy of DualShockers, does look painstakingly difficult, but such is the beauty of the retro artstyle and soundtrack that accompanies Cuphead, it somehow makes it a less painful experience to get through.
We are all likely to be tearing our hair out when Cuphead releases next week, but it certainly is exciting to finally see the release of the platform game that has been delayed on a number of occasions. It will be making its way onto Xbox One and PC on September 29th, 2017. Be prepared for an experience that will challenge you in every way a game like this can, with its charm often disarming the notorious difficulty within.
