Star Wars: Battlefront II, which is highly anticipated courtesy of its story mode, will take place between Episodes VI and VII of the space opera franchise, and a new video showcases a piece of what fans can expect when the game launches.
In the clip, Operation Cinder is being ordered, which will carry out Emperor Palpatine’s disastrous scheme to destroy a number of planets following his death. This was actually a major plot point during the Marvel Comics Miniseries, entitled Journey to the Force Awakens: Shattered Empire. The game is currently set for release on November 17th.
Many of the fans of the series will be looking forward to this sequel especially, as it hopes to improve upon the previous release. It was a resounding disappointment when the first game was launched without a single-player campaign, so it is great to see that there will be one included this time around. There will also be a far more expansive multiplayer segment in this game too, with plentiful maps and game modes.
