Destiny 2 will be introducing its first seasonal event next week, entitled The Dawning. Kicking off on December 19th, the event will last for three weeks, running until January 9th.
The update will be bringing plenty of festive spirit to the game, including new snowball fight activities taking place in social areas, plus snowball weapons in strikes, as well as the supercharged Mayhem mode in Crucible and the chance to collect and receive gifts from your favorite agents and vendors.
As to be expected, there will also be new cosmetic items that will be available through the Eververse. It’s worth noting this will include the first event-exclusive exotic ship, ghost, sparrow and emote, and even a set of winter themed armor.
You might well remember the original Destiny game featuring The Dawning back when the game was doing the rounds. If you happened to have checked this out at the time, then you can expect to see the usual snow coated surprises that the event brought to you back in the first entry.
