Cooler Is Coming To Dragon Ball FighterZ

At EVO 2018, Dragon Ball FighterZ had one of the most anticipated tournaments of the bunch, and the teams at Bandai Namco and Arc Systems decided to honor that loyalty and love for their game by bringing in a new trailer for the title. At the beginning, it showed off cutscenes within the game to show off the arrival of the Saiyan Saga forms for Goku and Vegeta, including fully reenacting their legendary battle from the series. But that wasn’t all they showed…

For they also revealed that the next character within the Season Pass/DLC, Cooler, Frieza’s brother. If you don’t know about Cooler, he wasn’t in the main series, rather, he was in the extended universe movies, and he was revealed to actually be tougher than Frieza, as well as be a better conqueror than he was. So getting him in Dragon Ball FighterZ proves that Bandai Namco still wants to pull from all aspects of Dragon Ball.

The trailer got to show off not just his transformation into his well-known form, but also the power he wields. Cooler seems to prefer physical attacks, only using energy ones when he feels he needs to. But, he does have some big ones, including a Supernova attack that can be particularly devastating.

Cooler was rumored to be coming to the game for some time, but now that it’s confirmed, fans are sure to be happy. Though no release date has been given for him, Goku and Vegeta’s base forms are coming this month, so it goes to reason that Cooler may not be too far behind.
