We Have A Vague Release Date For The Witcher Netflix Series

No specific release date was given, but we have a vague idea concerning The Witcher Netflix series and when it’s coming.

The Witcher Netflix

Ever since we found out that Henry Cavill was playing the role of Geralt in The Witcher Netflix series we were, well, interested. Not in a bad or a good way, just interested to see how that entire series is going to look. Henry Cavill is a good actor, but he isn’t someone the fans think could do Geralt justice. The picture where we see him in his role also didn’t give us any hope, mostly because the wig they put on him looked ridiculous.

But, let’s not judge before we actually get to see the show. Netflix has done some pretty terrible adaptations (the live-action Death Note movie), but maybe, just maybe, they won’t screw this up. There’s quite a lot of talent behind The Witcher Netflix series, which makes us have a bit of hope for the final product. Anyhow, in a Deadline article we find out that we will see Geralt in action in Q4 2019.

Is it in October, November, or December, it’s not yet known, but it is coming sooner than we anticipated. It’s no secret that the wild success of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt greatly raised the awareness of the Witcher universe and the books. Naturally, Netflix sees an opportunity to acquire popular media and they grab it, and that’s why we’re getting this series. They also know that the fanbase of the game is going to tear the series apart if it ends up sucking. Everyone is hoping that the show doesn’t disappoint.
