Empire of Sin Delayed To Fall 2020

Empire of Sin, the XCOM-esque title with cutthroat mobsters instead of hostile aliens has been delayed to fall 2020.

Where else can you find a turn-based strategy game that focuses on mobsters and their bloody conflicts? Nowhere. Except in Empire of Sin, of course. It’s a rather special title. It lets you poison your foes with alcohol and STDs will be featured as a mechanic. Sounds pretty wild, doesn’t it? That’s why it’s a shame to hear this news. Another delay. 2020 has been full of them I’ve noticed. No one manages to develop and then properly polish and prepare their games. Everyone just comes out and announces a delay. More time is needed for bugfixing and polishing.

However, Empire of Sin is special, so even if it got delayed to fall 2020 we can’t be too mad at the developers. This whole concept of building your own criminal empire from the ground up sounds incredibly fun. Uncharted territory, that’s what it is, and the devs want to do it right. You don’t want to present an innovative and fresh idea in a sloppy way.
