Hacknet Gets New Translation and Update Via Patch

Updates to games are a vital part of the video game process nowadays. For once a game is released, unforeseen problems can be found by those playing it, also though, there are additions and improvements that can come from the team after launch. With update and patches, everything can be made better. For the hacking simulation game Hacknet, a new patch has been released, and with it comes a lot of fixes as well as an extension of the game via a new language translation.

The game now supports Turkish in its translation options, meaning a whole new set of players can now enjoy Hacknet via their language. The team thanks Serhat Çavunt for his hard working in making this translation possible.

Furthermore, the Steam update reveals that players have new abilities via programming in the game. Including being able to delete things in an entire folder, being able to view long list of extensions, and more.

As for bug fixes, there were plenty of those, such as certain accounts not being granted full permissions even though they were of the same rank. There have also been some translation issues that have been resolved for mainly non-English languages. There were even some crash bugs fixed that have been causing players a lot of hassle. Add that to some art and gameplay bugs and you got a decent sized game patch.

If you’ve never heard of Hacknet, it’s a literal hacking simulation game. You play as a person who has been contacted by a hacker named Bit. Problem is, Bit is dead, and you are his “fail-safe” in case something happened to him. Now you must learn to become a hackers yourself so that you can find out what really happened to bit, and figure out why he was killed, and by whom. The game is available now on Steam.
