Rocket League Tournament Beta Ends Today

Rocket League is closing in on bringing the new tournament feature to fans, with the beta for the mode ending today on Friday, February 23rd.

During this week since Wednesday, players on the PC platform have had the chance to check out the tournament beta and in turn give their thoughts on the feature directly to Psyonix. This is something that the developers have been keen on pushing, with them encouraging players to leave feedback on the game’s subreddit. This testing is only available on PC, so other platforms will have to wait and hope that the testing makes its way to other systems such as PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

The following steps are required to access the beta on Steam:

  • Go to your steam library
  • Right-click Rocket League and choose ‘properties’
  • Select the “betas” tab in the pop-up window
  • Choose “tournaments beta” from the drop-down list

Should you be planning on switching between live Rocket League and the beta, then it is strongly recommended that you backup your save data, which can be done using the following steps:

Windows:

Documents\My Games\Rocket League\TAGame\SaveData\DBE_Production

macOS:

~/Library/Application Support/Rocket League/TAGame/SaveData/DBE_Production/

SteamOS/Linux:

~/.local/share/Rocket League/TAGame/SaveData/DBE_Production/

Rocket League is now available on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
