Conan Exiles Hotfix Targets Decay Time

What is something you can in Conan Exiles to fight decay? Well, if you’ve already built something, you naturally don’t want it to get ruined, so you maintain your buildings. As it seems, summer is finally here, and so people want to take a break from everything. You know, relax at a sandy beach, enjoy a cocktail, swim, there are lots of things you can do. That means that a lot of gamers go on a vacation, get out of the house, try to get some tan, and that means buildings decay if you don’t work on them.

US and EU players have given the developers some feedback on the decay time. Apparently, they want the 6 day period to be increased. People are going to be busy in the upcoming months, so the decay period has been increased, not permanently, by the way, to be 18 days. That’s a pretty big increase, so it is definitely going to affect balance in a big way, but they will disable it August 13th. On their official post they said:

So assuming your building is large enough it will take up to 18 days to decay [the repair hammer is your best friend and allows you to check this easily!]. We will keep an eye on things and record any significant impact on server performance. Depending on this, we may have to reduce the limit again but we will in that case make sure to announce it first.

Are you going on a vacation? Or are you staying at home and playing more Conan Exiles?
