Cuphead Patch Eliminates Mugman Army Glitch

The developers over at Studio MDHR have been working hard on bringing a number of changes to Cuphead via patch v1.1.3. Probably what has been bad news for players however, is that they have removed the Mugman Army glitch, which although was a gameplay issue, it was amusing to see.

This glitch was the result of a rather odd exploit which allowed players to spawn Mugman a number of times during multiplayer. The bug surrounded player 2 consistently dropping out of the game, only to rejoin as Mugman. Rather than getting rid of the initial Mugman and then bringing him back, the glitch would see another Mugman added instead. This led to an army of Mugman characters running around in unison around the screen.

In terms of the other changes being made, the latest patch focuses on a number of gameplay improvements, fixing several issues including the infinite controller rumble bug.

Cuphead released back in September to critical acclaim, praised for a number of accolades including its rather extreme level of high difficulty, as well as its 1930s vintage style of animation. The game is now available on Xbox One and Windows 10.
