Divinity: Original Sin 2 Announces Split-Screen Support

Larian Studios’ Kickstarter campaign for Divinity: Original Sin 2 has been showcasing a brand new video, boasting a number of updates coming to the project.

Serving as a follow-up to a previous popular RPG, Divinity: Original Sin 2 has been penned for release on September 14th and has confirmed a number of key details that will be included in the game. For example, the ability to play co-op mode on one screen is now available to you, thanks to the new split-screen mode, which is also being accompanied by controller support.

The update also details the use of Skill Crafting, where players will create their skills using a combination of elemental and non-elemental books. Then you have Source Skills, should you be interested in talking to ghosts of dead characters and animals (Pet Pal talent required). If talking isn’t your strong point, then you could always absorb their powers using the Source Vampirism.

There’s also Rune Crafting, which can help with your weapons and equipment to create some very handy runes, with the combination of items and enchantments. For a closer look, check out the trailer to see how the game is progressing. It is set for release in September, so be on the look out for its release, or head over and get the game in Early Access.
