Rocket League isn’t without an iconic car or two in the game, with the past additions of the Batmobile and the DeLorean. Now, there is the latest addition of Dom Toretto’s 1970 Dodge Charger, coming in from the Fast and the Furious film series.
The film franchise boasts not only a diverse set of cast members, but also a number of unique cars that have lifted the series to a number of successes. From this, Rocket League has picked the most iconic car belonging to protagonist Dom and implemented it into the upcoming Fast and Furious DLC, which brings some very recognizable vehicles to the soccer-car hybrid.
You may remember the Dodge Charger from the first film, which had its own backstory to it. And once the DLC arrives, you’ll be able to experience how the car would cope flying around an arena chasing a giant ball, before smashing it into the opponent’s goal. The other cars coming are also featured in the series, but aren’t quite as recognizable as the Charger. Even so, the Nissan Skyline GT-R and the Dodge Charger R/T will be pleasing to see for fans, and admired by those who are new to it.
Rocket League is now available on PC, Xbox One and PS4. A release on Nintendo Switch is also being planned for the end of this year.
