Fatal Frame: Maiden of the Black Lake gives us an overview of the new PC port additions and announces a release date as well.
I remember a time when a much younger me played a Fatal Frame game on PlayStation 2. Let’s just say I wasn’t ready for this type of atmosphere and horror in a video game. But, I can safely say I’m going to totally curve Fatal Frame: Maiden of the Black Water and its PC port once it arrives even as an adult.
Nothing against the game, it just still looks too intense for me. I mean who isn’t weak to Japanese horror? Long dark hair and a pale face may be my type of girl, but I still don’t like their menacing approach in Japanese horror media.
Anyhow, take a look at the game in the overview trailer below. Find out a bit more about the setting, plot, and our characters on their official website.
Of course, the Fatal Frame: Maiden of the Black Water overview trailer gives the PC port a release date with a bunch of other information like:
- The addition of the Photo Mode (players can use characters and ghosts, put them in a background and then add a ton of effects to blend their own perfect scary picture)
- New Costumes and accessories (Yuri’s ‘Punk Ensemble’, ‘Cutesy Goth Ensemble (Black)’, ‘Swimsuit (Blue)’, and the ‘Triathlon Suit’ as well as Miu’s ‘Miku Hinasaki Outfit (The Tormented)’, ‘Cutesy Goth Ensemble (White)’, ‘Swimsuit (Yellow)’, and ‘Swimsuit (Pink)’, along with Ren’s ‘Groom’s Outfit’)
The Fatal Frame: Maiden of the Black Lake PC port arrives on October 28, 2021, on the Nintendo Switch/PS4/PS5/Xbox One/Xbox One X|S, and PC.
A similar but much more traditional horror experience can be found in the Outlast games. And you can get cheap PC game keys for Outlast games on HRK Game!
looking forward to it
