FFXV’s Comrades Mode Coming Out As A Standalone Game

There have been cases where certain modes in certain games become so popular that they get released as standalone titles. Examples are games like Gwent, which was originally a card game from the Witcher, but the players liked it so much that they demanded that it got released as a separate title. Now, the Comrades mode from Final Fantasy XV is also getting the same treatment.

As we found out on IGN’s post, Square Enix announced that their Comrades multiplayer mode is getting an updated. It’s coming out somewhat later this year, and it’s going to add battle challenges and raid bosses to the popular multiplayer mode. But, the more exciting announcement is that the FFXV Comrades multiplayer mode is going to be available as a standalone title this summer. What does that mean for us? Well, you won’t need to have the original game’s disc or full game to play this standalone version of the multiplayer mode, but we still don’t know whether Comrades is going to be available for free or will it actually cost some amount of money. Square Enix said that more information is coming, but not now. We will probably be hearing more about this when summer gets closer, but for now, we don’t really know much.

Have you played FFXV yet? Did you enjoy its Comrades mode? Are you going to play it once it gets released as a standalone title?
