Ghost Recon: Wildlands Free Weekend is Underway

If you find yourself at a loose end with nothing to play this weekend, then you should definitely be checking out Ghost Recon: Wildlands, which is free to play until October 15th.

Releasing to critical acclaim earlier this year, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands is hosting a free weekend for all those who haven’t had the chance to experience the game so far. If you wish to play the game on consoles, you will need to have a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold account, depending on which system you own. The progress that you make will be carried over into the full game, should you choose to purchase it after the free period is over.

This promotion ties in with the brand new PvP mode that is being added to the game, entitled Ghost War. The 4v4 deathmatch mode brings a whole new entity to the game, seeing as it only previously allowed co-operative multiplayer. Now, with Ghost War, there is a new competitive spark to Wildlands that will surely add a new twist to both old and new players alike.

Ghost War is available for free for those who already own the game, which will come following an update. You will be able to choose from 12 different classes, along with a number of match types for you to play with.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands is now available on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
