Ghost Recon Wildlands Will Be Free to Play This Weekend

Ubisoft has announced today that Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands will be hosting a free weekend on all platforms including PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC. The free weekend will take place on October 12th, and will run through until October 15th, 2017. This will offer players access to the full base game and its content, as well as the chance to experience the free PvP update Ghost War, which will be available from October 10th.

If you’re a new player, then you’ll be able to pre-load the game from today via Uplay PC. There will also be a sale on all editions for the game, with them coming in at half price. What’s more, players progress will carry over into the full game, should they choose to purchase it following the free weekend.

A highlight of checking out the tactical shooter this weekend will undoubtedly be Ghost War, which offers a 4v4 team deathmatch gameplay experience that takes the gameplay mechanics from the base game and divides them into 12 classes of their own abilities, weapons, customization options and perks. The new PvP features will also include mechanics such as suppressing fire and sound markers.
Ghost Recon Wildlands is now available on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
