Resident Evil: Revelations Releasing on PS4 and Xbox One

Capcom has announced that Resident Evil: Revelations will be released as an updated port on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A Japanese release date has been revealed, with the game set to arrive on August 31st. Release dates for US and European regions has yet to be confirmed, though the time frame suggested will see it release sometime this fall.

This upcoming remaster sees enhanced 1080p visuals, and will be accompanied with all of the DLC that was included in the original release, making this the most definitive version of the game that you can get. In typical Resi fashion, the game follows old protagonists Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield as they do battle against horrific creatures and solve puzzles to survive.

Resident Evil: Revelations originally released back in 2012 on Nintendo 3DS, and has since released on several other platforms including PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U, and will now release on this generation of consoles. When the game does eventually launch, a price tag of around $19.99 has been set, though release dates in all regions are yet to be announced, with the exception of Japan. It seems like a reasonable price, considering you get all the DLC included that had previously been sold separately.
